Metal technician – mechanical engineering technician with a focus on machining technology

📋 Job description

Apprenticeship – duration 3.5 years

What does a metal construction technician do in the main module of mechanical engineering technology or machining technology?
– Manufacture components on manual and computer-controlled machining centers according to shop drawings
– Assemble assemblies and production systems on site
– Automate hydraulic and pneumatic components
– Computer-aided programming (CAM) using 3D/CAD models
– Create shop drawings using 2D and 3D CAD software
– Carry out measuring operations and create test reports

📚 What do I bring with me?

– Positive school leaving certificate

Full-time employment of 38.5 hours per week
Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 4:25 pm and Friday until 11:45 am
OR
exact working hours to be agreed with the employer

Remuneration details: the gross apprenticeship pay for the apprenticeship as a metal technician is € 967.42 per month

Start of apprenticeship: 01.09.2025

The employer is happy to offer the APPRENTICESHIP WITH MATURA as part of the training and the necessary requirements. In this case, the apprenticeship lasts 4 years.
