Conformity status
We firmly believe that the internet should be accessible to everyone. That is why we are committed to making our website accessible to the greatest possible number of users – regardless of their circumstances and abilities.
To achieve this, we follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) at conformance level AA as closely as possible. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. Compliance with these guidelines helps us to ensure that the website is accessible to all people: blind people, people with motor impairments, visual impairments, cognitive impairments and more.
This website uses various technologies in order to be as accessible as possible at all times. We use an accessibility interface that allows people with specific disabilities to adapt the user interface (UI) of the website to their needs.
In addition, the website uses an AI-supported application that runs in the background and continuously optimizes accessibility. This application revises the HTML of the website, adapts functions and behavior for screen readers (for blind users) and for keyboard operation (for people with motor impairments).
If you have found a fault or have suggestions for improvement, we look forward to hearing from you. Please contact the website operators at: {contactEmail}
Screen reader and keyboard operation
Our website implements ARIA attributes (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) and various behavioral adaptations so that blind users cancan read, understand and use the website with screen readers. As soon as a When a screen reader user enters your website, he/she receives a message to activate the screen reader profile in order to use the site effectively. This is how we cover key requirements (with example descriptions in the code):
Screen reader optimization: A background process records the components of the website from top to bottom to ensure ongoing conformity, even with updates. We use ARIA to provide meaningful information, e.g. correct form labels; descriptions for operable symbols (social icons, search, shopping cart, etc.); validation notes for form entries; roles such as buttons, menus and modal dialogs (pop-ups). In addition, the background process scans all images and adds a precise, content-based description as ALT text based on object recognition for images that are not described. Texts embedded in images are read using OCR (optical character recognition). To activate screen reader adaptations at any time, simply press Alt+1. Users with screen readers are also automatically prompted to activate screen reader mode when they enter the website.
These adaptations are compatible with all common screen readers, including JAWS and NVDA.
Optimization of keyboard navigation: The background process also adapts the HTML and adds JavaScript behaviours so that the website can be fully operated using the keyboard. This includes: Navigation with Tab and Shift+Tab, operating dropdowns with arrow keys, closing with Esc, triggering buttons/links with Enter, switching between radio buttons/checkboxes with arrow keys and activating with Spacebar or Enter. In addition, quick navigation and skip links are available at any time with Alt+1 or as the first elements when navigating with the keyboard. Pop-ups are automatically focused and the focus cannot leave the pop-up.
Shortcuts are also available to jump to specific areas: “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons) and “G” (graphics).

Notes, comments and feedback
Despite all our efforts, there may be pages or areas that are not yet fully accessible, are in the process of being converted or for which there is currently no suitable technical solution. We are constantly improving our accessibility, expanding and optimizing options and functions, and developing or adopting new technologies – with the aim of providing the best possible access as technology advances.
